My Monkey is 14.

I don't believe it. I can't. He's still my little four-year-old ball of mischief and snuggles and I'm having a rough morning.

Having too much fun

Went with Sissy & Ken to this convention-thing. We went as ourselves, kinda.. I hopped into some short-shorts and got a foam sword, and Dorie got herself a fancy red coat.

Ken thinks we're nuts, but we had too much fun.

I'm still concerned that someone is spying on us and writing my issues into the show, but enraged-Adora with a magic sword was kinda on the nose...

Birthday weekend

Charlie had so much excitement, this weekend, he's still asleep! Can't believe our little man is FIVE. These kids are growing up so fast. He's going to be in school, soon, and I'll be home all alone, with no one but Tinny for company.

Tinny can't wait.

CJ spent his birthday with Max, over at Universal. They apparently tried to ride roller coasters until they threw up, on purpose.

I blame their fathers.

Further proof Max is the toughest of all of us

He came to give me a birthday hug, this morning, just after the change to today. We talked about Trey for a little bit, then made a plan to have pineapple pancakes - Trey's favorite - for breakfast.

I didn't tell Max, this morning, that I actually saw Trey, after putting him back to bed. It wasn't more than a glance, really, ~~Okay, we had a few words~~ but he looked good, under the circumstances. If I didn't know better, I'd say he's figured out how to get hold of Mina's barbecue in the Gale.

~~Hubby's got a tummy....~~ Good thoughts and memories, though, because Trey's birthdays were always really good days.

Focusing on work, today - and forcing Senior to have lunch with me, while I'm in New Central.

And, speaking of Mina's barbecue.. dinner and a small fire tonight, complete with a beach view. Everyone's welcome, even if you're just coming for the pie.

The party boy is done

Tinny went to the National Puppy Day party held after closing, last night. Cindy invited him to join all the “local” dogs. And one pig.

Turns out, all the pets are real, too.

There were pet-friendly snacks and they even got to go on some of the rides.

Mushu doesn’t like that there’s no National Dragon Day. He’s says he gets no respect. He’s sleeping on my desk at the moment, so I’m respecting him by cleaning the kitchen instead of dealing with royal duties.

It's a very nice day, and I'm finally feeling like myself, again. So, the kids are all slathered in sunscreen and we're taking Tinny to the beach.

El - if we're not back when Max gets home from school, tell him to join us. We won't stray from the porch view. :)

Stay away.

Chapel confirmed that it's pneumonia. I don't even know how I got it, but I did.

Tinny won't leave my side, no matter how many times I've tried to run him off. He wouldn't even leave when Chapel showed up.

Chapel here. She's settled in her own room at the hospital. Pumped her full of drugs ~~not those ones~~ and she's being monitored. Adora was coming over to clean the house before the kids get home from school and then taking Tinny to Florida for an overnight vacation at the pet center (he shouldn't be contagious, but better safe than sorry when he starts licking food off the kids)

Birthday adventures

Charlie and I took birthday cake and presents to the Central City Children's Home (which they're still calling 'Charlie's House'.. but we'll discuss that later).

All the kids are now full of sugar and playing with toys and having a good time.

Massively glad we were able to convince everyone running bets for who was Charlie's papa to donate all the money to the home. Turns out, four annuals later, they're still operating on Tyler's line, alone.

And you all were picking on me for putting money on Tyler...
