Further proof Max is the toughest of all of us

He came to give me a birthday hug, this morning, just after the change to today. We talked about Trey for a little bit, then made a plan to have pineapple pancakes - Trey's favorite - for breakfast.

I didn't tell Max, this morning, that I actually saw Trey, after putting him back to bed. It wasn't more than a glance, really, Okay, we had a few words but he looked good, under the circumstances. If I didn't know better, I'd say he's figured out how to get hold of Mina's barbecue in the Gale.

Hubby's got a tummy.... Good thoughts and memories, though, because Trey's birthdays were always really good days.

Focusing on work, today - and forcing Senior to have lunch with me, while I'm in New Central.

And, speaking of Mina's barbecue.. dinner and a small fire tonight, complete with a beach view. Everyone's welcome, even if you're just coming for the pie.
