Race went pretty well for being almost the middle of the night for this old brain. The weather wasn't ideal, but I suppose it could have been worse.

Snuck into bed with Max about an hour before his normal waking time, but couldn't get El to join us. I think she was ignoring me. :)

Once we got everyone up and dressed and divvied up between family members, El, Max and I headed over to the cemetery, to tell Trey Happy Birthday. Mass and Chapel showed up, too, and we all had a family moment, which was really nice.

Someone had clearly ben there before us, because there were fresh flowers at the stone. Some folks from Central stopped by before we left and told us there was a small gathering in town, and we should stop by.

I think all of New Central was there...

All in all, I only cried a little. But mostly because, even after all these annuals, Trey has left a mark on everyone.

And, after all this time, I still miss his stupid face.
